ividi Removal Instructions:

  1. Go to the Safari Menu
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Extensions And remove any/all unwanted extensions. Safari by default does not includes any extensions so anything you find installed in the Extensions section is a third party extension.

Next, Check and Remove all Third-Party add-ons manually

  1. Open Finder
  2. Click Go -> Go To Folder And provide the path to each one  of the folders one by one /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ /Library/Input Methods/ /Library/InputManagers/ /Library/ScriptingAdditions ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ ~/Library/Input Methods/ ~/Library/InputManagers/ ~/Library/ScriptingAdditions Please note that while you remove files from the above locations, do not trash them instead put them in a new folder so you can restore it if needed, and trash them only once everything starts to work properly. Some files here, are needed by programs to run properly and if they are deleted then you will end up re-installing your OS. If you are not using Safari, and the ividi has hijacked one of your other browsers then check the installed Extensions/Plugins for those browsers.
